1930s Car Design

Cars have been around for over a century and the way they look has changed with the evolution of production methods, technology, and tastes. Take a Sunday drive down memory lane with this video showing how cars have evolved over the last 100 years.

It all starts off in 1910 with a beautiful red Auburn that looks like it drove right out of a car museum. When you think about how today’s cars are enginnered, it’s a wonder that something so beautiful yet flimsy-looking didn’t end up getting everyone killed before cars really caught on.

1970s Car Design

Moving on through the decades there’s Lincoln, Ford, Chevy, and Dodge as cars grow larger and more substantial. The pastels and curves give way to muscle with a bright red Camaro to represent the 1960s.

The march through time continues with Fiat, Porsche, Toyota, Prius, and finally, reperesenting the modern car, a Tesla Model S. From early, primitive cars to hybrids to luxury electrics, cars have come a very long way in the last 100 years.
