A Chevrolet guy at heart, Camaro's have always been special to me. I had owned a Third Generation 1989 Camaro RS with the 2.8 V-6. Plan was to hand this over to my daughter when she turned 16. As it played out, we shared it. Enough about me.
My focus on this post is the '95 Camaro, fourth generation, (1993-2002.) This generation Camaro had to grow on me, which it eventually did. It was so futuristic in looks, and that's what restyling a vehicle is all about.

This sporty Camaro was available with either a 3.4 L V-6 (49 states), a 3.8 L V-6 (California) or a 5.7 L V-8, LT1. If you bought a Z/28, you received the LT1 (V-8), a poor man's Corvette, as they called it.
1995 was also the first year the fourth-generation Camaro had the option of painted side bars and mirrors. Traction control became available as an option on LT1 Camaros, but was installed on the base Camaros.
Z28 rooftops, door handles, and mirrors, which were previously only available in black, now had the option to be painted the same as the body color.
At the end of the 2002 model run, Camaro lovers would have to wait until 2010 & the introduction of the fifth generation Camaro to get a new one.
It was well worth the wait,
