First photos of the fifth Bugatti Veyron Legend edition have made their web debut early. Set to make its world appearance at the Beijing Motor Show next month, the special edition Veyron will honor Czech female racer Elizabeth Junek.
Born in 1900, Junek was considered to be one of the most successful female racing drivers in all of Grand Prix racing history. Often partnered with her husband before his untimely death, the duo raced a Bugatti Type 30, a Type 35B, along with a Mercedes.
Now, Junek’s history will be forever remembered in the form of a high-performance hypercar. The black and yellow Veyron will be limited to only three editions, and will be the fifth series of six in the Legend Edition Veyron lineup.
Official figures on the car have yet to be revealed, but we don’t expect anything less than the same 8.0-liter V16 and 1,200 horsepower under the hood. And the price tag should sit at the same $2M+.
Expect the official reveal of this one-of-a-kind Veyron in Beijing next month.
