Any classic Mustang that wears a Shelby, Boss or Mach 1 badge is likely to fetch some serious cash when it crosses the auction block. But this very unique, very pretty Mustang is a bit more special. Thus, it should go for a bit more when it goes on sale this Spring in Kansas City.
This 1969 Mustang Boss 429 was one of the very first examples ever built. More specifically, it sports a No. 38 badge number, and was the very first 429 to wear that handsome candy-apple-red paint scheme.
Even more impressive, this example is completely original and lightly driven, with only 902 miles on the odometer. Now that is one pristine pony car.
If you’re in the market, this Mustang will be hitting the auction block in Kansas City sometime between April 24 and 26. We don’t expect to go anywhere for less than high-six or even seven figures.
