The 2014 Geneva Motor Show has come and gone, and boy what a show it was. A handful of new supercars, numerous luxury coupes and some very exciting concepts make 2014’s show one of the greatest. Here’s a rundown of Motor Authority’s favorites, starting with none other than the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4. Words cannot describe how good the baby Lambo looks in person, but it’s not just a pretty face as the car. is packing plenty of technology too.

Mercedes-Benz has hit a homerun with its latest design trend and one of the best examples of it is the 2015 S-Class Coupe, the replacement for the aging CL-Class. A striking profile marks the S-Class Coupe apart from the teeming hordes of four-doored coupe wannabes. This is a true coupe, and it wears its proportions like a larger-than-life sports car. It’s truly breathtaking in the metal.

No doubt one of the stars of this past week’s show, Koenigsegg’s new One:1 supercar mesmerized onlookers with its crazy, prototype racer styling. The best part is that the car has the performance to back up its looks thanks to a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V-8 dishing out--wait for it--1,340 horsepower!

Maserati’s stunning Alfieri concept was one of the big surprises of the show. It hints at the Italian marque’s future styling and may just be a preview of an upcoming sports car.  Not a bad way to celebrate turning 100.

Jeep’s new 2015 Renegade is just so cute it’s hard not to love it. The vehicle. is based on the platform found in the Fiat 500L but it’s been heavily modified for application in the Jeep and now offers two separate 4x4 systems. Yes, you’ll be able to take the Rengade off-road, and there will even be a Trail Rated Renegade Trailhawk on offer.

The Honda Civic Type R is the car we wish we had here in the States. Previewed in concept form this week, it takes a humble econo car and packs it with a mighty turbo four, track-tuned suspension and an aggressive, downforce-producing body kit. We guess you could always opt for a Ford Focus ST or Volkswagen Golf GTI/R.

McLaren used this week’s 2014 Geneva Motor Show to introduce its new 650S supercar, which comes in coupe and Spider convertible flavors. The 650S is positioned between the 12C and P1 in McLaren’s hierarchy of road-going models, and is akin to Ferrari’s 458 Speciale and Lamborghini’s Gallardo Squadra Corse in that it takes the basic 12C package and turns things up a notch.

It’s a wagon, it’s brown, need we say more? To be exact, Volvo’s new Concept Estate is actually a shooting brake (it only has two doors and the rear hatch) but it previews the lines of the Swedish automaker’s future wagon models like the next-generation V60 and V70, and possibly a new V90 flagship.

Even among all the wild concepts and supercars, Porsche’s new 919 Hybrid Le Mans prototype looked like a UFO that had just landed. But it’s not just the outside that features a radical design. Inside things are just as wild, with Porsche confirming its 919 Hybrid is powered by a through-the-road all-wheel-drive hybrid system consisting of a 2.0-liter V-4 engine, twin energy recovery systems and an electric motor on the front axle.

It wouldn’t be a Geneva Motor Show without something new on Ferrari’s stand. This year it was the sultry California T, which appears to have taken everything that was wrong with the previous California and turned it beautiful. Still, the best part is the engine, which musters up 552 horsepower and 556 pound-feet of torque, and also features a flat-plane crank.
