1958 Frisky Sport Convertible

As fast as Honda's lawnmowers go, there was a time in Europe when cars not that much bigger than an American lawn tractor were seen as the next big thing. Among the dozens of start-ups in postwar Europe, this little convertible came to life in 1958 as the Frisky Sport. It's two-stroke, 17-hp motor was enough to hit 95 mph, although going that fast in a fiberglass-bodied car like this strikes me as far more dangerous than any supercar of today. The Sport caught by Photiste is one of only three still in drivable condition.
