Maybach is Back, Headed to LA Auto Show

Maybach’s back — and it’s headed to LA. Thanks to a new report from Reuters, we’ll reportedly get to see an all-new Maybach at this year’s LA Auto Show, and later at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China.

But what exactly will a new uber-luxury car encompass? According to the report, with the current asking price of the Mercedes-Benz S600 at about 165,000 ($228,000), the new car is expected to “cost more than double” that. So, we should expect double the luxury.



You may remember that the Maybach 57 ended its run back in 2012, with a final sale price of $376,300. What the new vehicle will encompass, or what the final sale price will be other than “double” the current Pullman has yet to be seen.

Look for it on display at this year’s LA Auto Show, if not sooner.
