2015 Buick Overview

Over the past several years, Buick has been busy reinventing and expanding its lineup, so it comes as little surprise to learn that most models have been carried over for 2015 with only minor tweaks. All Buicks continue to boast a 2-year/24,000-mile free factory-scheduled maintenance plan that covers oil changes, tire rotations, and more.

With the exception of the Encore small crossover, each of Buick's 2015 offerings is available with new exterior colors and an OnStar system that now includes Wi-Fi connectivity (subscription required after a short trial period).

On top of that, the 2015 Enclave's upper trim levels sweeten the pot with a standard heated steering wheel, the 2015 Verano ups the bling factor with an optional Appearance package, and the 2015 LaCrosse is improved thanks to a newly standard rearview camera and an infotainment system capable of reading incoming text messages.

Buick's large Enclave crossover SUV model sees minimal updates for 2015, including new interior and exterior colors and the addition of a heated steering wheel for Leather and Premium trim levels, both of which are offered with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).

A FWD Convenience variant is also available. All 2015 Buick Enclaves feature a direct-injection, 3.6-liter V-6 engine that delivers 288 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque.

What's New:
  • Crimson Red Tintcoat, Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic, Dark Chocolate Metallic, and Midnight Amethyst Metallic paint colors
  • Dark Plum interior color
  • Available heated steering wheel

2015 Buick Encore

As the newest addition to the Buick family, the compact Encore crossover SUV has been carried over mostly unchanged for the new model year. For 2015, the company upgraded the OnStar telematics system to include Wi-Fi technology, essentially turning the Encore into a mobile hotspot. The service is provided on a 3-month/3-gigabyte trial basis, after which a subscription is required.

Like the 2014 model it replaces, the 2015 Buick Encore is available in FWD and AWD versions and four trim levels, all powered by a turbocharged, 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers up to an EPA-estimated 33 mpg on the highway.

What's New:
  • Upgraded OnStar system with Wi-Fi mobile hotspot technology

2015 Buick Lacrosse

As is the case with several other 2015 Buicks, the LaCrosse has been treated to a new version of OnStar that uses Wi-Fi to transform the sedan into a mobile hotspot. Among the car's other upgrades are front head restraints with 4-way adjustment, three new paint colors, standard rearview camera, and a smartphone-based infotainment system capable of reading incoming text messages aloud and responding to an extensive suite of voice commands.
Shoppers considering the 2015 Buick LaCrosse have their choice of FWD or AWD, four trim levels, and either a 182-horsepower 4-cylinder or 304-horsepower V-6 engine.

What's New:
  • Upgraded OnStar system with Wi-Fi mobile hotspot technology
  • Front head restraints with 4-way adjustment
  • Standard rearview camera
  • Deep Garnet Metallic, Dark Chocolate Metallic, and White Frost Tricoat paint colors
  • Intellilink infotainment system adds text-message alerts and Siri Eyes Free voice-control commands

New colors and the Wi-Fi-enabled OnStar system account for what's new with the 2015 Buick Regal, a 5-passenger sedan available in FWD and AWD configurations with trim levels ranging from basic to the performance-oriented GS. All 2015 Regals are offered with a standard 259-horsepower turbocharged engine, though the eAssist mild hybrid system is optional.

What's New:
  • Upgraded OnStar system with Wi-Fi mobile hotspot technology
  • Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic, Dark Chocolate Metallic, and Emerald Green Metallic paint colors

2015 Buick Verano

In keeping with Buick's mild-update theme for 2015, the FWD Verano returns with one new paint color, OnStar with Wi-Fi, and a new Appearance package consisting of a rear spoiler and a silver grille. Power comes from a normally aspirated or turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, and the lineup includes four trim levels.

What's New:
  • Upgraded OnStar system with Wi-Fi mobile hotspot technology
  • Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic paint color
  • Appearance package
