Want a Manual in Your Pagani Huayra? It’s Possible, But Expensive

The Pagani Huayra is a 730 horsepower, 3.2 second, 200 mph supercar for the ages. It costs about $1.5M, and it’s probably one of the most exclusive supercars on the planet. But how does one make this epic supercar even more exclusive? Add a manual gearbox to it, of course.

According to Jalopnik, Pagani has no problem fitting your Huayra with a non-conventional manual gearbox. That is, if you have plenty of cash to back it up. And I mean plenty. Along with the conversion itself, the customer would have to pay for research and development costs, testing, and all that goes into fitting a manual gearbox onto a car that comes standard with paddle shifters.

Just how much all this R&D and testing would cost, Pagani has no idea. But we can tell you that R&D costs sure as heck aren’t cheap. Think, one Pagani for the price of two. That sort of expensive.
So far no one has asked for this expensive option, but if you have two million bucks to blow, why not?
