If you’ve been hoping to park the new 2017 Nissan GT-R in your driveway, then you’re going to need to save a little more cash than you thought. The starting price for the base GT-R is $109,990, not including the $1,595 destination fee. That’s a pretty significant $8,220 increase over the outgoing Premium model.

Although it will cost you more money to own one than ever before, the new GT-R has improved standard features. This includes a much more luxurious interior, and a titanium exhaust system that used to be a $12,900 option, and previously only available on the GT-R Nismo.

0Those aforementioned interior upgrades include a new dash, a larger infotainment screen, Nappa leather trim, and an acoustic glass windshield. Not to mention the extra 20 horsepower you’re getting under the hood. Options will include Pearl White and Blaze Metallic paint at $1,000, or Super Silver Paint for $3,000. Carpeted floor mats will set you back another $295.

Amber, Ivory, and Rakuta Tan Premium Interior packages are another $4,000. The Premium is the first of four models and is set to come out mid-July. The GT-R Nismo is due to arrive in the fall while a new base model priced closer to $100,000 is possible. As for the fourth model, expect a track-focused GT-R like the Black or Track Editions.
