2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue

It’s not every day that you get an opportunity to snag a very rare piece of automotive history. This 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue OSV concept car is currently up for auction on eBay. It’s the only vehicle of its kind, and though it never saw production, it remains a pristine example of what could have been.

Being that it’s a concept vehicle and most of its life was spent somewhere on a showroom floor, it has very low mileage—just 490 miles are showing on the odometer. Those miles weren’t from day-to-day driving, but rather, from its brief excursions to auto shows and various events. It’s powered by a supercharged 3.5-liter twin-cam 24-valve experimental motor. That engine is paired to a 4T80 electronically controlled 4-speed automatic transmission. It produces 315 horsepower with 295 lb-ft of torque.

2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue Profile

Brakes are cross-drilled 13-inch Brembos in front, with production 10.9 x 0.4 cross-drilled brakes in the rear. It also has a custom factory installed Borla exhaust and ZR 19-inch custom wheels.
The body was custom built by GM and includes front and rear spoilers, ground effects package, and badging on the front fenders and rear deck lid. It once stood on display at the GM Heritage Museum and was purchased by the current owner before the company’s bankruptcy. Place your bid and you might take home this piece of Oldsmobile history.
