Here’s a feel good story this Christmas — Arvinder Singh is the best son in the universe right now. He recently won a Porsche Cayman S, and instead of hooning it to no end, he gave it to his parents.

Two things: is he available for adoption? and how can I make sure my daughters, ages 10 and 6, follow his lead when they grow up? Unfortunately Singh is 24 so adoption is probably out of the question … but there’s still hope for my daughters.

He said, “We’re a typical Asian family and we share everything. It’s what we do. It would be really awkward turning up in something so flashy when others don’t have the same so by giving it to my parents we all get to share in it.”

In addition to the car, worth 50,000 pounds (about $77,500), Singh also won 10,000 pounds (about $15,500). Looks like he’s going to continue driving his Vauxhall Corsa. To translate that to American English, he passed up a Porsche for a Ford Fiesta.

Singh won the Cayman S through a contest in England called Best of the Best. Even after an exchange with their PR folks, we still don’t quite understand it.
