Aston Martin is Definitely Building the Lagonda, But You Can’t Have One

That’s right, Aston Martin is for sure showing off a new Lagonda sedan this year. The only problem is, if you live in the U.S., or UK, or France, or Australia, or Germany — hell, anywhere that isn’t the Middle East, you can’t own one. Why? Because Aston is setting its sights directly on the Middle Eastern market and its oil-rich elite.

Yes, it is a shame that we won’t get this stunning sedan stateside. But the good news is, it’s a brand new step for Aston, and a new direction that Aston says is “an exciting moment not only for Aston Martin, but for discerning customers who are seeking the ultimate in luxury and personalization.”

As for full details on this undoubtedly lovely machine, Aston Martin hasn’t given us much else to work with other than these vague teaser shots seen above. We’re likely to see a V12 though, and a price tag well into six figures. Especially when Aston brands it as “the finest of fast cars.”

Let’s hope it lives up to its promise, and looks as good as this.
