Time is running out to buy your loved one the perfect present for Christmas. If you plan on having it shipped, time could be really tight. Further complicating things, the car lover in your family can be at once both the easiest and hardest person to shop for.

 

On the one hand, you know you could always get them something car-related, but on the other, you know that said individual will most certainly be a connoisseur of all things automotive. Simply getting them any old neon sign that just says “Garage” won’t cut it. You need to get them something special. Here are a few ideas.

Nestled in the hills of Tennessee, Bristol Motor Speedway is one of the most recognizable tracks on the NASCAR circuit. It can pack 160,000 into this high banked circuit, dubbed “World’s Fastest Half-Mile.” This panorama lets you take in the whole track, and given its size, its comical to see how much of the image is taken up by the rest of the valley.

Speaking of Porsche, one of the greatest on-film appearances from the German automaker was the movie “Le Mans,” featuring Steve McQueen. In one iconic scene shown in this poster, McQueen throws up the “two-finger salute” which is basically Europe’s version of flipping someone off. For the McQueen or racing fan, this is a great get!
