One-of-Three Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Hits the Used Market, Is Quickly Sold

Let’s just say you have a ton of cash in the bank. What would you do with all that money? We’d go out and buy an outrageously expenisive, insanely limited car like this Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Jean Pierre Wimille edition. Someone out there agrees, and just snapped up this very special Bugatti.

According to SevenCarLounge, this particular example is number one of three examples that were ever built, part of the Legends series to send off the Veyron in style. This example is so rare, in fact, it kind of makes all other Veyrons look commonplace.

The car is a part of the Legends collection and celebrates driver Jean-Pierre Wimille. He earned two victories for the company at 24 Hours of Le Mans. The first was in a 57G Tank in 1937 and the second win was in a 57C Tank in 1939.

 

The 1937 car was the inspiration for this very modern vehicle, which sports blue both inside and out as tribute to the color of Wimille’s winning car. It is one of six legends vehicles produced. Any Bugatti is exclusive, but this one is truly something special.
