Ah, the Lagonda. Born in 1976, it was Aston’s (mostly) failed attempt at a large and luxurious sports sedan. Today, it receives all the cult classic feel-good you would expect for such a unique ride. But lately Aston Martin is on the fringe, and it’s in the process of testing a new four-door, likely to carry the Lagonda nameplate once again. And this concept could preview the real deal.
Created by the good folks at Wildspeed, this Aston Martin Lagonda features many of the classic lines, without all the classic drawbacks. The rendering was done up thanks to some Aston Martin spy shots, and it’s surprisingly good looking, and remains true to the now-iconic Lagonda from way back when in 1976.
As mentioned, Aston is in fact working on a new four door that may very well carry the Lagonda badge, we don’t see why they wouldn’t build something this good. Let’s just hope it comes sooner than later.
