In the past, Plymouth Hemi Cuda’s have been known to fetch in the million dollar range at auctions. One of America’s most prided muscle cars has quickly turned into a thing of car collector envy. So when next month’s Mecum Auction in Seattle rolls around, you best believe some cash is going to be dished out for this beauty.

It’s a 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Four-Speed Convertible. To be a bit more specific, it’s the only originally documented 4-speed convertible with matching numbers in the entire world.

Formerly owned by a famous cartoonist, purchased for $250,000, the car was seized by police in a drug raid, and was sold at auction for $405,000. This was all before muscle car prices began to skyrocket even.

The car was then restored in Los Angeles by a new owner in 2000, who eventually traded it for a few vintage Corvettes. Now, it’s headed to the auction block in Seattle next month. And we don’t doubt it will reach six, or even seven figures. We’ll just have to wait and see.
