Galag Batmobile

Batman is going to be one jealous superhero when he sees this. This year’s Gumball 3000 features this Batmobile Lamborghini from Team Galag. It’s a one-of-a-kind car that the Dark Knight would be lucky to drive. Might be time to upgrade, Bruce.

It was built specifically for the Gumball 3000 by Swedish company Caresto. They specialize in making project and concept cars. The rally kicked off this past weekend in Dublin, Ireland. The car is based on the version of the Batmobile found in the Arkham Knight video game with modifications to make it driveable.

It’s powered by a Lamborghini Gallardo-sourced 5.2-liter V10 with 560 horsepower and a paddle-shift gearbox. The tubular frame was custom made, and it rides on big 26-inch wheels with 8-pot Brembo calipers in front and 6-pot in the rear.

The details that make it look like the Batmobile are all crafted from carbon fiber, which extends to the interior. It does not come equipped with a grappling hook, machine guns, or ejection seat, unfortunately, but there are at least air conditioning and a sound system. Maybe they can add in some crime-fighting weapons after the rally.
