In 2010, Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear introduced the world to the Noble M600. It was a different kind of supercar; built by a few men in a “shed” in the UK, and designed to go extremely fast above all else.
But Noble hasn’t exactly kept its now iconic supercar what I’d call ‘fresh.’ After all, six years is like an eternity in supercar speak. Thankfully, the automaker commissioned SVR (Super Veloce Racing) to unleash a sinister special edition for the London Motor Show later this week.
The “Black-Red” M600 doesn’t just look good, it goes fast as hell. 662 horsepower comes from the 4.4-liter twin-turbo Yamaha V8. That’s 12 more than the standard version. From a standstill, the M600 will hit 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds.
To match this intense performance, SVR fitted the vehicle with the aforementioned “black-red” paint scheme, stunning black wheels, and some other minor exterior finishes, including a rear diffuser and new side mirrors. All in all, the M600 keeps its original style, with only a few updates.
The vehicle is part of Noble’s new partnership with SVR, which will allow potential customers a hands on experience with the car before deciding to purchase. Even if you won’t be a customer, anyone will be able to see the it in person when it takes the stage at the London Motor Show on May.
6th.
