Probably the biggest hype going this summer has been the release of the 707 horsepower 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

Not only has it been getting the juices stirring without the various Mopar enthusiast groups, but it’s been getting the blood boiling in the other camps who aren’t too happy with the claims and numbers that the supercharged Hellcat Hemi produces.

After all of the hype, all of the articles, and all of the butt-hurt feelings, the one thing that has been the thorn in everyone’s side is that they couldn’t order one yet.

While we watched video after video of Ralph Gilles doing burnouts, or Tim Kuniskis talking about how great the car is, we couldn’t wait to see the first one roll into the dealerships.

While it was announced earlier that mid-August would see the orders start coming through, authorized SRT dealers had to put a hold on ordering the most powerful musclecar. However, Chrylser made an announcement today that authorized dealers can now begin taking orders for the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat.

Now that you’ve practiced ordering your Hellcat Challenger through the SRT website a few dozen times, you should be up to speed and ready for the real thing.

All of the colors and options available for 2015 are listed on the website, and no more disappointment will befall you once you’re done with your wish list, because orders are now being accepted from Dodge franchise dealers.

So if you’ve had enough of the hype and you’re ready to get your own Challenger SRT Hellcat, head on over to the SRT website and pick your colors and options… and then head out to the local dealer and get your order placed, because: musclecar. This time, however, you can do your own burnout instead of standing on the sidelines watching Ralph lay down the stripes.
