If the only thing holding you back from purchasing a Bugatti was the lack of a four-door model — and not its hefty price tag — then today is your lucky day. The 16 C Galibier Concept was introduced nearly five years ago, and it isn’t as dead as we all once believed.
Former CEO Wolfgang Schreiber had said last year that a four-door Bugatti was not going to happen because it didn’t fit the company’s philosophy. It looks like the new Wolfgang has different thoughts on the matter.
As to when this four-door Bugatti would make an appearance, that’s anyone’s guess, but it likely won’t be anytime soon. The replacement for the Veyron 16.4 is next up with a probable debut next year. So a production Galibier will simply have to wait.
When and if the Galibier sees production, speculation has the four-door’s W16-engine producing 1,340 horsepower with a top speed of 235 mph.
