Fab Fours Legend 2.0 Has a Bad ‘Tude and ‘Doo

n the crowded world of off-roading, you need a gimmick to stand out. Fab Fours Legend 2.0 accomplishes that goal with its combination bad attitude and even worse hairdo. It’s Moab-meets-punk-rock.

 

Introduced before the 2015 Easter Moab ride, the Legend 2.0 (or 2.WOAH as the company calls it), was created to prove Fab Fours just didn’t create pretty show cars. Its vehicles really could go off-road and dominate the wilderness.

For the Legend 2.0, according to DuPont Registry, Fab Fours made improvements over the original Legend. The Legend 2.0 “has an integrated grille and bumper, dubbed the “Grumper,” adds extra clearance and better protection for the 480-horsepower V8 from GM. The wheelbase was extended to 136 inches, an additional 10 inches on the front and back, to increase stability.”

 

 It rides on Mickey Thompson 46-inch Baja Claws tires on 20×14 Master Faceplate wheels by American Force Wheels with custom powdercoat wheels and, most interestingly, sits on the factory suspension.

 

Fab Fours set out to create something that was low and wide with wide tires and crazy proportions. And, just for the heck of it, that crazy punk rock mohawk on top in lieu of a sunroof.

When not creating bizarre prototypes, Fab Fours Inc. is a steel bumper and accessory manufacturer. For the last decade, it’s been working on making sure Jeeps and trucks weren’t just luxury vehicles, but truly had off-road chops.

It is probably best known for its full-width bumpers and winch set ups for vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler. It also makes rear bumper and tire carriers, roof racks, side rock sliders, and side steps.

For the time being, Fab Fours promises it will be selling a street-legal version of the Legend 2.0. It will be interesting to see if it does and what inappropriate celebrity is the first to buy one.
