It’s been a tumultuous few years for Dutch automaker Spyker. After a series of mishaps from CEO Victor Muller, some unsettled debts, and a few assets having to find a new home, it looks like the marque is back on its feet—and completely free of debt.
With new life, Spyker is looking to find a business partner in American aircraft manufacturer Volta Volare. Never heard of it? The Portland, Oregon-based company doesn’t have a deep history, but it does claim to build the “most efficient, lowest emissions aircraft on or above the Earth.” So it has that going for it, which is nice.
At the end of the day, Spyker seems to be back on its feet, headed in the right direction, and hopefully bringing cars like the B6 Venator (above) to market. Though, that last part remains to be seen.
