When I was a child in the ‘80s, I was obsessed with Knight Rider. Most kids, especially those who had a thing for cars, were fawning over David Hasselhoff’s talking ride (voiced by the same guy who’d go on to play Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World). It was one of the coolest cars on TV.

One Texas fan went so far as to outfit his 1985 Trans Am just like the one on the show, inside and out. It’s not just a light bar, no sir—he went and built the interior to match the car from the show.

 

 

Unfortunately, for our anonymous fan of ‘80s camp TV, he’s going to have to sell his (presumably beloved) KITT car. It appears that he lost it in a divorce, and his now ex-wife put it up for sale on Craigslist.

So if you live near Austin or San Antonio (or can bring a trailer), you can have the car for the price of … well, she doesn’t say what she wants for it. She only asks for “serious inquiries.” Nor are there any specs on the car beyond that it has an automatic transmission—our heroine must simply want it gone.

 

If you like Knight Rider so much that you must have a KITT replica, drop the lady a line—for the right price, it’s all yours. Computerized voice of William Daniels likely not included.
