He certainly wasn’t the first artist to splash pigment across the figure of a sports car – I seem to remember some guys named Calder, Stella, Lichtenstein and Warhol – but he might just be one of the best in recent years. Meet Duaiv, the mononymous French-American artist responsible for this strikingly adorned auto, the Duaiv Ferrari FF.

Originating from Bordeaux, France, Duaiv has toured the world and captivated the public through both his musical talents and skillful brush strokes.

Using palette knives, bristles, and sometimes even his fingers – his artwork spans conventional canvas as well as the automotive world, with recent works including a vibrant Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and a Ferrari 458.

Now it seems he’s on to grand tourers. In collaboration with Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, Duaiv impressed a rainbow of paint onto the generous flanks of this FF, in the style of one of his canvas paintings.

While it might not be everyone’s cup of tea to get artsy on a perfectly mint Ferrari, we find no fault with the Frenchman’s rendering.

Can’t get enough of his high-performance art cars? You’re in luck. According to his website, Duaiv will take his skills to the track and adorn a Ferrari GT Le Mans car. Any particular autos you’d like to see done-up by Duaiv?
