Right off the assembly line, the 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus offers 610-horsepower, and 583 lb-ft of torque. Combine that power with the 3,364 lb curb weight and you get a car capable of 0-100 sprints of 6.1 seconds, or roughly about the same amount of time that it took you to read these first two sentences.
This is not a vehicle that needs more power, per se, but the supercar segment is less about need, and more about want.

Thankfully, German tuning house Wheelsandmore wanted to offer a tuned version of the R8 V10 Plus, because ridiculous simply will not do. The “B3AST”, as it was appropriately titled, is fitted with the Wheelsandmore Stage III performance kit that bumps horsepower up to 850, and torque up to 583 lb-ft. This moves the R8 from supercar to hypercar in my book, as if needing only 21.1 seconds to hit 170 mph in stock form wasn’t enough to do so already.

Those impressive numbers come by way of a supercharger kit, forged connecting rods, high-performance pistons, Drexler differential lock, revised cylinder heads, and of course, a handcrafted exhaust with adaptive valves. There’s no video or audio clip featuring the exhaust, but it’s probably a safe bet that it sounds ferocious.

In addition to the performance modifications, you can clearly see that this R8 has had some visual tweaks done as well. The stripes generally aren’t my thing , but in this case, it’s not the worst look in the world. The overall styling is rather subdued compared to some of the other R8 builds out there, and the additions beyond the striping actually serve a purpose.

Wheelsandmore added a set of their ultra-concave F.I.W.E. wheels wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 5P rubber, and a fully adjustable racing suspension with coilovers to make sure the B3AST stays glued to the road when you’re approaching speeds over 200mph.
