The name Rolls-Royce conjures images of gentility. It is an elegant vehicle for those with refined tastes, not for driving around across your expansive front lawn like a teenager on a joy ride. On second thought, drifting across the lawn and ripping up all that pretty green grass sounds like an excellent idea.

Feast your eyes on this wanton disregard for manners and decorum as a $285,000 Rolls-Royce Wraith gets a taste of the rally life. It tears through a well-manicured garden estate like Ken Block sending grass and dirt flying in its wake. The gardener is not going to be happy.

You know things are going to go wonderfully crazy the minute those coach doors open and instead of a chauffeur’s highly polished shoes and gloved hands you see a guy in shorts and a t-shirt wearing black sneakers. Black high-top sneakers always mean trouble.

He thrashes the car around a gorgeous estate, doing donuts around trees, drifting across huge fields and taking this 624-horsepower V12 on the ride of its life. There is a brief moment where he does find a dirt road. But don’t worry, it only lasts for about two seconds before he’s once again flying across an open field.
