RS, SS, 1LE, and so on seems to be the natural progression in the Camaro lineup as of late. With the former two already on the market last year, fans knew it was only a matter of time before Chevy delivered a new 1LE—we just didn’t know when or where.

Now, we might. According to Automotive News, Chevrolet may be showing off the new Camaro 1LE at the Chicago Auto Show later this week. That new Camaro will sit alongside a revised Trax, and a Colorado and Silverado in two brand new colors.

Details on exactly what the new 1LE will entail are slim, but we can safely assume a suspension upgrade, a few minor tweaks to the exterior, and a hefty helping of horsepower courtesy of one 6.2-liter V8. Like the Camaro it’s replacing, the 1LE is bound to be Chevrolet’s track performer in the segment (at least until the Z/28 shows up…).

We won’t know for sure whether a new Camaro 1LE will be on display in Chicago until doors open to the press on Thursday, February 11th.
