This Might be the Prettiest Acura NSX You Can Buy Right Now

Fun fact: did you know the original Acura NSX is now technically considered a classic? Yup, that’s right, if you buy a 1991 NSX you officially own a classic car. That may sound appealing to some, but if it were up to me, I’d be putting my money down on this drool-inducing example from 2001.

 

It’s blue—obviously—and it’s about as clean as clean gets when it comes to the iconic NSX. Even better, it’s one of the last examples built with the pop-up headlights rather than the bug-like fixed versions that came after.

Stock-looking exterior aside, there’s something pretty special under the hood. Lift up its skirt, and you’ll find a 3.2-liter V6, essentially a bored out version of the original 3.0-liter V6. Which means it makes more power, and it’s still got a manual gearbox to boot.

 

Other adjustments include a coilover suspension, a full stainless steel exhaust system, and a repainted bumper due to some wear and tear. That wear and tear comes from over 32,973 miles on the road (at least it wasn’t some garage queen).

Maybe not as unmolested as some enthusiasts would like, but this beautiful piece of engineering is hitting the block at Silverstone Auctions on February 27th for an estimated price of £55,000 – £65,000 ($78,545 – $92,826).
