2012 Bentley Mulsanne

If you’re in the market for a Bentley Mulsanne, there are 206 to choose from between the the U.S. and U.K. branches of AutoTrader, but only one has the distinction of having been owned by Queen Elizabeth II. Well, so far as I know anyway.

It’s quite possible that Her Majesty has a secret garage full of all sorts of interesting vehicles—but this is the owner one you can actually buy.
This 2012 Bentley Mulsanne was the queen’s mode of transportation when popping ’round from 2012 to 2014. For example, she popped round to Prime Minister David Cameron’s office at 10 Downing Street for his initial cabinet meeting, as well as the reserved celebration that was the Diamond Jubilee, marking her 60th year of reigning as queen in 2012.

Does the arrival of this car coinciding with the Diamond Jubilee make it even more special? Well, if you wanted a way to one up the person who owns a car that was simply ridden in by Queen Elizabeth II, I’d say having her Diamon Jubilee year mode of transportation would be the way to do it.

2012 Bentley Mulsanne

On top of having the added pedigree, this is still a Bentley Mulsanne with just 5,826 miles on it. I’m not sure which of the 19 choices of green paint is covering the exterior, but my guess is Cumbrian Green Metallic or Barnato Green.

It has the thirsty 6.75-liter V8 under the hood, but if you’re buying this car, fuel costs are hardly of concern. Inside you’ll find Shortbread or Twine leather seats, I can’t tell which, Walnut burr veneer trim, and maybe a couple quid. You know old ladies are always dropping money between the seats of their cars.
