Dumb BMW M4 Driver Tries to Show Off, Jumps a Median

The BMW M4 is quite a car. It’s obviously completely street legal and something that anyone can use as a daily driver, but it’s equally at home on the track. It’s the kind of car that tempts drivers to do a little showboating, especially in front of a crowd of car enthusiasts. That’s exactly what happened to this guy and the results weren’t quite what he planned.

This happened this past Sunday at Cars & Coffee in Blackhawk, California, where folks line-up just to catch a glimpse of the assembled cars. You can see there’s quite a few people on this street corner, including whoever happened to be holding the camera that caught this guy’s very lucky mistake.

We say lucky because, although he managed to do some damage to his car and trounce his suspension, he still drove away in one piece after he jumped the median. It’s all because he got cocky and the M4′s torque put him in his place.

The timing couldn’t have been better as a pack of cars had just passed leaving a clear roadway when he headed into oncoming traffic. He also just missed hitting a couple of sign posts and some trees. He might be embarrassed, but at least he wasn’t hurt in what could have been a nasty wreck were the timing just slightly different.
