For those of you complaining the new Lamborghini Huracan isn’t quite mean enough, isn’t quite Lamborghini enough — quit your whining. This is the new Huracan GT3 race car and it’s about as raging bull as it gets.
The car gets a full racing suit courtesy of Lamborghini engineers with a bit of help from Dallara. Under the hood is a 5.2-liter V10. But the real addition here is this car’s weight— or rather, lack thereof.
Tipping the scales at only 2,732 pounds, the GT3 racer loses 403 pounds from its road-going brethren. Not to mention that it’s even a whole 80 pounds lighter than the Super Trofeo version.
If you’re interested in owning and competing in one of these lightweight Italians, be prepared to dish out €369,000 ($427,400). Otherwise, you can catch the Lamborghini Squadra Corse team on the track in the next year or so.
