Jurassic World and Terminator Genisys aren’t the only blockbusters to be looking forward to this summer. On Aug. 14, the much-anticipated Straight Outta Compton: The Story of N.W.A. will hit theaters (the original SOC music video was released August 8, 1988).

The upcoming biopic will focus on the stories of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, DJ Yella, MC Ren, and Arabian Prince as they came up in the music scene and spoke out about the life and culture of Compton, California, in the ’80s and ’90s and the effect this music had on pop culture.

Cars were a heavy part of that scene during that time, and with songs like “Boyz in the Hood,” “Today was a Good Day,” and “Nuthin’ But a G Thang,” hydraulic cars, including the likes of the ’64 Impala, grew to fame.

That influence on this movie is extremely apparent in the trailer, as we see not only the Impalas, but also get a glimpse of a Ferrari Testarossa and an ’80s Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The extended Red Band trailer also includes a special intro with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube rolling in a brand new 300, which is an obvious result of Dre and Chrysler’s continued partnership since the “Imported From Detroit” campaign.
