Deadmau5 has become pretty well known for his continually changing collection of supercars. The latest addition to his growing fleet is a BAC Mono. This one took awhile, but after a year and a half, the car is finally ready for delivery.
The reason it takes so long is because these cars are about as custom as possible. It’s not just a matter of putting on a fancy wrap or making other cosmetic changes. It’s not about adding on special aero kits either, but of creating a car that is specifically built for each owner’s proportions.
Founded by Neill and Ian Briggs, BAC started building their one-of-a-kind cars six years ago in Liverpool, England. The goal was to create a central-seat format car that was completely focused on the driving experience and made specifically for one driver. That means that getting your hands on one can take quite awhile.
The Mono comes with a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder Ford Duratec engine and hits 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds. It’s also got a top speed of 170 mph which just begs for this thing to be let loose on the track. If Deadmau5′s past is any indication of his future, we should be expecting videos of his track antics any day.
