The beverages have been cooled, the chips have been dipped, and every seat in the house is firmly planted in front of the television. It must mean one thing – Super Bowl Sunday. While you’ll be glued to the screen during game time, we found a pretty nice way to spend halftime … you know, if Katy Perry isn’t your thing.
How does riding shotgun in a 478 horsepower Ferrari F40 sound? This footage was taken during a track day at Italy’s historic Monza circuit, the home of the Italian Grand Prix. As such there are a few other pedigreed supercars zipping around, including a Pagani Huayra. Feast your eyes and ears below.
Katy Perry can surely belt out a tune, but would you listen to this F40 sing! The Prancing Horse’s 2.9-liter V8 howls through a Tubi Style exhaust system, creating quite the burble.
The driver gave it a few throaty blasts through the gears, and although he wasn’t out to set a lap record, he did sprint past a few Subarus and a Lotus Esprit like they were standing still.
Now where did that cheese dip go?
