Take an LS3, drop it in an old muscle car—boom, the ultimate sleeper. The formula for LS3-swapping has been used by enthusiasts the world over. But while most opt for classic Chevy muscle cars, none have been more creative than Justin Miller of Washington, Missouri.

His 1952 CJ3A Willys Jeep might be the coolest classic Jeep you’ve ever seen. Not just because it’s restored to perfection (which it is), but because the LS3 surprise under the hood should shock a few boy racers down at the local drag strip.

According to MWExclusive.com, the project started out somewhat as a joke when Justin picked up the rusting Willys from a neighbor. The project was put on hold after a nearly three year stay in the service. Upon returning home, Justin finished the project as a tribute to his military career, fitting it with one of the most potent engines in the business.

The 4.8-liter LS3 under the hood is powerful enough, not to mention it comes with a Nitrous Express direct port nitrous kit. To make it even more insane from there, he’s looking to add either a turbo or superhcarger to the mix. Even with all that power, though, this classic Willys goes ultra old school lacking any modern amenities, including seat belts.

We wouldn’t have done it any different.
