Watch a Dodge Challenger Hellcat Race an F16 Fighter Jet

If you dig through YouTube for a bit, you’re bound to find a bunch videos of supercars racing fighter jets and losing in ridiculous fashion. Heck, Top Gear did it a few years back with a Bugatti. But we haven’t seen a good supercar vs fighter jet showdown in a while…until now.

Road and Track took the 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger Hellcat down to Homestead Air force base in Miami, Florida, and lined it up next to an F16 fighter jet. Not that they weren’t already out-powered, but to make matters worse, it was practically a monsoon out there.

Question is: can the 707-horsepower Hellcat keep up with the F16, even for a little bit? Watch and find out:
