Every year, the automotive aftermarket industry descends upon Las Vegas for the annual Specialty Equipment Manufacturer Association convention, also known as SEMA. It is a place where the chrome and carbon fiber is in big supply. The same cannot always be said for taste, as some aftermarket outfits maybe push the limits too much. The car you see here is a great example of a SEMA car in which restraint has been exercised.

For this year’s show, rather than bringing another gull-wing monstrosity, Chevrolet wanted to bring a few cars with parts and accessories to show how you can truly customize your ride, and do so in style. Chief among those is this Camaro Red Line Concept.

Using a sixth generation Camaro as the platform, Chevrolet used the new sport scar to showcase some of the new parts from Chevrolet Accessories. The Camaro sports Satin Graphite 20-inch wheels with custom red accents, new deck-lid graphics, and red fog lamp bezels. Furthermore, the Camaro received a host of performance parts. However, the company is keeping those details under wraps until the official unveiling of the car at SEMA in two weeks.

According to Roger McCormack, director of Accessories & Performance Parts Marketing for Chevrolet, “Chevrolet Accessories bring value and the added security of knowing the parts are designed, engineered, tested and backed by the same team that developed the vehicles.”

The new parts Chevrolet has built for the Red Line Concept aren’t run-of-the-mill pieces from those chain auto parts stores. Each part is built with purpose and tested to meet the same level of endurance stock parts meet. Add that these parts bolt up without the need of drilling, and come with the same type of warranty as your stock parts, and it makes for a winning combination.

SEMA begins Nov. 3 and goes until Nov. 6. We’ll be on the floor getting more details on the Redline Camaro Concept, so stay tuned.
