Oh Yes! Bisimoto to Unleash 900-HP Ford Mustang at SEMA

BOLD RIDE

Those who regularly attend the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas can attest to two things— 1) it’s the wildest convergence of custom cars in North America bar none, and 2) it gets a bit nuttier every year.

Looking for proof? Look no further than the absolutely bonkers custom Ford Mustang EcoBoost that tuning company Bisimoto will put on display. It’s a stunner.

That “EcoBoost” moniker denotes that Ford’s 2.3-liter turbocharged engine lives under the hood, but reflective of that blacked-out exterior, it isn’t making anywhere near the standard 310 horsepower. Instead, Bisimoto has built its raucous Mustang up to a staggering 900 ponies. Remember, this is a four-cylinder!

Take a look at the clip below to see a glamour shot of the Bisimoto Mustang, along with seven of the other high powered Mustangs on display at this year’s SEMA Show.

Perhaps it’s too early to crown a favorite, but my does that Bisimoto Mustang look sinister. In order to cope with such a silly amount of horsepower, the tuning firm says it has designed 14 new engine and chassis components, and reinforced the car with a slew of other aftermarket components.

Some of the big bits include Arias forged pistons, Bisimoto camshafts and custom exhaust, a Turbonetics BTX7668 turbocharger, Spearco intercooler, BuddyClub brakes, and Fifteen52 wheels wrapped in R888 Toyo tires.

The rowdy ground effects come courtesy of an AirDesign body kit, and inside the EcoBoost there’s said to be a race-ready roll cage, but you wouldn’t know through that dark window tinting. A fitting name?

The company has begun calling this the “BisiBoost” Mustang.
Need to see this and the other wild concepts that cram the Las Vegas Convention Center? The 2015 SEMA Show kicks off on November 3rd.
