2016 Chevrolet Camaro Revealed Early On CNBC

BOLD RIDE

Thanks to one of the stranger ‘leaks’ in recent memory, this is the first and best look at the 2016 sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro. The un-camoed view comes courtesy of CNBC’s Squawk Box after somebody at GM Insider News took photos of the show discussing the remodeled car.

Based on these captures, the new generation looks pretty evolutionary. The grille is thinner, it gets LED lights (vertical on the base, horizontal on the SS), the rear is more rounded, and it has Corvette-like tail lights. The new Alpha platform Camaro will also get new engine options. It will reportedly have a 270-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, a 330-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, or a 440 horsepower 6.2-liter LT1 V8.

The full reveal is coming later this weekend, so check back for full updates and full specs. Until then, peep the video to hear its sweet, sweet note.
