Look what you’ve done, Lewis Hamilton. First you leave McLaren after six seasons and join the Mercedes squad. Then, after a couple years and a whole lot of wins with the Germans, you go out and buy one of McLaren’s street cars? What is this, some kind of charity buy? The photo above was posted by the McLaren F1 Twitter handle, and since then, all chaos has been unleashed!
Just kidding, no it hasn’t. Just a little friendly “banter,” as some would say. Even though McLaren didn’t directly mention Mercedes, some other fans naturally pointed it out to his new crew. And the response was pretty solid.
