The McLaren F1 GTR Longtail is not the kind of car that comes up for sale every day. There were only 10 examples of the supercar even built, so it’s not often that the collectors who own them decide to part with their treasures. Now you have a chance to own one. Making it even more exclusive is the fact that this is the one that was sponsored by Top Gear.

 

McLaren built 3 road-legal versions of the Longtail, which make it the rarest model they’ve ever built. Any of them can be converted for road use, but that’s just not the same thing as being built that way in the first place.
 

This one was sponsored by Top Gear back before the days of Jeremy Clarkson. Rather than being sold by a private group, McLaren is brokering the deal themselves. How much? No word yet, but it sold for big bucks in the past.

 

According to Carscoops, Bonhams sold this car in 2012 to the current owner for $13 million. If you’ve got that kind of spare change hiding in your Louis Vitton couch cushions, then you too can own this 600-horsepower V12 monster.
