Here’s a Ford Mustang SUV Because Alternate Realities Are Fun

The Ford Mustang is safe from nothing. As one of the most iconic and popular cars on the road, it’s constantly going to be in automotive conversations, both positive and negative. Earlier this year, somebody answered the question of what a Mustang hatchback would look like. Today’s answered question dives into an increasingly growing segment of the auto space: What would an SUV or CUV with Mustang DNA look like?

 

The rendering comes from Russian designer Artem Sinitsyn. Interestingly, though there’s really no sense in thinking in any sort of logical terms here, Sinitsyn went with a two-door coupe look like a BMW X6 or Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class rather than a traditional, more practical utility vehicle.

The results are actually pretty great. The high belt and sloping roof combined with the scoop- and intake-littered front end makes for an extremely aggressive package. Could something like this ever happen? Absolutely not, but what would the world be without imaginations?
