500HP Rezvani Beast Supercar Defies the Odds, Takes to the Streets

BOLD RIDE

Over the years, many have laughed off start up supercar companies. Between all the failed tries and empty shells, the world is full of Ferrari wannabes. But it’s a whole different story when companies can back up those claims. This is the 500-horsepower Rezvani Beast, and it proved all the naysayers wrong with a running, driving production vehicle.

For those unfamiliar with the Rezvani Beast, the car was originally shown off last year as a concept, and it didn’t have the ridiculous power figures or price tags of many other start up supercars. Rather, the Rezvani Beast had a much more attainable, Porsche 911 Turbo price tag which gave it a little more credence. The car starts at $165,000, which gets you an open top, 500-horsepower, mid-engine, carbon fiber clad, 165 mph sports car. All built right here in the good ole US of A.

For performance, Rezvani used a highly-tuned version of the Ariel Atom’s supercharged four-cylinder engine. It gets to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds. That’s about the same time as most million-dollar hypercars. This astonishing performance level is thanks to the extremely low curb weight. Tipping the scales at just 1,650 lbs, the Beast is definitely lighter in comparison to most other supercars.

The Rezvani Beast is now on sale, and ready to hit a race track near you. We’re happy to finally see one of these start ups succeed, and not have to write an article about a billion horsepower hybrid hypercar that never comes to fruition. Again.
