Jaguar has officially said goodbye to its longstanding XK. After almost 20 years on the market, the XK became a benchmark for Jag in both longevity, and eventually performance. But you shouldn’t be sad, because one designer thinks the XK deserves to live on with a radical new look.

The concept was created by 15-year-old Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa of Vanatical Design. You might remember him from the ‘Baby’ Koenigsegg concept or the soon-to-be-produced SIN SP200 supercar. This time, he’s taken the British coupe and turned it into something even sportier.

It’s called the Envision XK, and it takes modern cues from the F-Type and C-X75 concept, and transforms them into a more realistic, but not any less sleek XK for the road. While it has some pretty dramatic lines, Jennarong wanted to make sure that fans would still instantly recognize it as the much-loved XK.

“The specs shouldn’t be too much different from the current XK. On the design, my goal when I begun the car was to create something that had the signature look of the current and past XK models, so you could instantly tell it was an XK, and while at the same time incorporates design elements from the newer Jaguars such as the CX-75 and the F-Type,” he says.

Aside from a drool-worthy design, under the hood would sit a hypothetical 5.0-liter V8 ranging from 350-610 horsepower, and some Brypar brake calipers would make sure it stops as fast as it goes.

As of now, Jaguar hasn’t said anything about a reborn XK— but after seeing this concept, they might want to rethink that.
