The new Shelby GT350 twins are inching closer to their big debuts, where the world’s automotive press will finally get a chance to get behind the wheel and properly flog the new track toys. But before that times comes, Shelby American has something extra special to show the world.

This is the new 2015 Shelby Super Snake. It still has the same 5.0-liter Coyote V8, but thanks to a Whipple or Keene Bell supercharger, this Super Snake is making over 750 horsepower.

Shelby has also added upgraded cooling throughout the engine and the rest of the car including a new differential cooler, much more engine cooling, a transmission cooler, a set of Shelby Performance Wilwood brakes, new brake ducting to help cool the rotors, and a one-piece drive shaft.

The car also comes with a set of Weld Racing one-piece Super Snake 20-inch forged wheels, some aerodynamic changes all made from carbon fiber, and Super Snake striping. And while most of the upgrades are on the inside, and in the engine bay, Shelby American also played with the interior as well. The Super Snake gets a roll cage, Katzkin interior, race seats with 5-pt harnesses, and a few other things thrown in for good measure.

What’s the cost for all this grunt and muscle? Well, for just the appearance kit without all the real technical engine upgrades, it will cost you $49,999. But to go the full on, 750+ horsepower route, it would be better to just spend the $54,999 and prepare to set your hair on fire.
