Classic 1968 Chevrolet Sunoco Camaro Trans Am Could Fetch $1 Million
Here’s your chance to own the 1968 Chevrolet Sunoco Camaro Trans Am raced by Mark Donohue and Sam Posey. This isn’t some replica, oh no, but the real deal that spent time on the track and attracted lots of attention in the process.
The Sunoco Camaro is the third of six cars built by Penske for the 1968 season. It arrived in the team’s Philadelphia garage in November of 1967 and was done by January the following year. It sports a blue Sunoco livery and was driven by Mark Donohue, Craig Fisher, and Bob Johnson at Daytona as #6. They managed to finish 12th overall and 2nd in class.
