The Dodge Challenger is one heck of a muscle car with several different variants. Each one is a beast, but they aren’t all created equal. This video putting two different version of the Challenger head-to-head shows what a difference there is between the Challenger Hellcat and an SRT8 with nitrous.
The Hellcat boasts 707 horsepower and has become a favorite of muscle car fans everywhere. The SRT8 is also plenty powerful, and the owner of this one has added nitrous to give it a little extra kick. Is it enough to make it faster than the Hellcat?
As far as we can tell, the Hellcat is likely a stock model with its supercharged 6.2-liter V8. All we know about the SRT8 is that it was modified to include nitrous. Unfortunately, no numbers on its power output were available.
The two matching black cars line up and then take off with plenty of video cameras onboard to catch every angle. Watch through to the end and there’s a clear winner. See if the Challenger that wins is the one you expected to see victorious.
