Don’t Worry, This Worn-Out Looking Porsche is Actually Brand New

There’s something funny about somebody that buys a new car, only to give it a patina look something straight off the track at Le Mans. Most of the time they come out looking overly tacky. But this Porsche 911 GT3 RS is far from it—the patina Martini livery should have you reliving the glory days of racing past.

The concept was done by Swedish customs shop WrapZone, in collaboration with LA-based artist Skepple who came up with the patina race livery look. They also gave a Beetle an old fashion Herbie makeover, as well as a Dodge Charger the General Lee. But it’s the Porsche I’m particularly interested in.

It wears the iconic colors of Martini well, especially with all the (fake) wear and tear. The front end even bears a ‘crack,’ likely from a speedy entrance into a hypothetical chicane, only to end up backwards in a pit of gravel.

Some people might call it posing, or just plain ugly—but I think it’s a really cool look, especially for a car so highly regarded as the 911 GT3 RS. Do you, very wealthy Porsche owner. Do you.
