Lame puns aside, Morgan seriously made an electrifying entrance (ok, just one more) at the Geneva Motor Show this year with a fully electric version of its much-loved 3 Wheeler. Not only is it leaner and greener, but also nicer to look at too. Here’s how it breaks down.

Sitting atop the tubular space-frame chassis are both a 20KWh lithium battery and a 46kW electric motor. The two work in unison to send power to the rear wheel, with a driving range of up to 150 miles on a single charge, and a 0-60 mph time of just 9.0 seconds. The EV3 will top out at 90 mph.

This is the first time Morgan has built a fully electric vehicle. And even with the addition of an electric motor and a battery to the design, the EV3 tips the scales at just 1,102 lbs (500kg), making it extremely light.

The EV3 isn’t ready for the mass market just yet—the car you see here is just a concept at the moment. But Morgan hopes to have its EV3 up and running on the market in the next few years. For now, it’s sure to shock show goers in Geneva.
